Circuit training consists of performing multiple exercises on multiple body parts in a row with little rest between exertions. Taking as little rest as possible between sets is one of the most important components of circuit training.
How awesome is that?!
Other benefits of circuit days, and interval training in general, include increased cardiovascular endurance, serious calorie burning during the exercise, and increase in lean body mass. The high intensity workout in a condensed amount of time also means that you are effectively using your time. We hope to see you on a circuit day soon!
