After spending 2 years running the showroom and learning the fitness community in New Orleans, Niki decided to go after her goals of opening up a studio boutique gym. Partnering up with Hour Blast Uptown owners and Jessica Kempainen, together they opened up Hour Blast Metairie in April 2013. Megan Kantor Megan was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated from Loyola University in 2005. After taking her first Hour Blast class in September of 2012 she was hooked, and her passion for fitness began! She frequented Hour Blast 3 days a week and loved the dedication, support and determination that Hour Blast provided. In January, 2014 her little boy Max was born, and Hour Blast once again brought her back to the best shape of her life. After spending 2 years as a stay at home mom, her friend Lacey Watler approached her about opening an Hour Blast in Lakeview. Knowing she wanted to get back to work and knowing it would be doing something she loved, she of course said yes and everything fell into place from there. They opened the doors in Lakeview in April, 2016 and have never looked back. Megan loves instructing and is driven by seeing her clients happy and healthy. She is certified by AFPA and focuses on guiding clients to use proper form to make sure they get the most out of their workouts.
